Hello! My name is Miss Diaz and I am so excited to be your teacher this year! I was born and raised in Southern California and it has been my dream to be a teacher since I was in the third grade. I went to elementary school right here in Tustin, but then moved to Murrieta, California in the fifth grade. When it was time to choose a college, I knew I wanted to return to Orange County. I attended Cal State Fullerton (Go Titans!) where I studied Child and Adolescent Studies. After that I decided to stay at CSUF and get my masters in Education and my teaching credential. Prior to becoming a third grade teacher at BC I worked as a reading intervention teacher in Irvine. This is my fourth year teaching at Bonita Canyon and I am extremely grateful for this special community of parents, students, and staff. When I am not in the classroom I love being outdoors, especially by the beach! Below are a few of my favorite things.
